A family owned and operated Commercial fishing / Touring business located in the town of Phippsburg Maine. We have several tours and are open to inquiries on special charter Tours based on 6 paying passengers per trip. 4 person minimum.
The Crew Captain Mark Wells has 25 years experience as a commercial fisherman and 5 years as a Coast Guard licensed Captain. He has been married to Mary E. Wells (Miss Betsy) for 17 years. His son, William is his First mate.
The Boat The Miss Betsy is a Holland 32’ fiberglass lobster boat that we purchased in 1995 as a bare hull and cabin. We finished her out in 80 days by fabricating the deck and fuel tanks, as well as installing a 370 hp Volvo diesel engine, bunks, engine boxes, hauling / steering systems, and installing windows and hatches.
